Accepting Nominations for the Best Construction Project of the Decade

Please submit nominations for what you think is the best construction project of the decade. The criteria as far as completion is concerned is that the superstructure of the building must be in place by the end of December. So if the steel or concrete is topped off, it’s good to go. I’ll narrow it down to about 5 or 6 project and then we’ll have a vote for the best.

I would like to nominate the Grand Canyon Skywalk, recently completed and opened along the south east wall of the canyon. The unique glass floor, cantilevered over the edge of the canyon allowing one to literally walk over the edge and look straight down about a thousand feet, is an engineering marvel, and quite impressive.
